Narcotics Anonymous is a nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other to stay clean. Our message is hope and our promise is freedom from active addiction.
Often when attending N.A. conventions, members ask "Why should I register?" Understand that the convention incurs a great deal of expense. These expenses include the rental of the hotel and convention meeting rooms, DJ's for the dances, signs, printing of the flyers, programs and the items contained in the registration packets.The monies collected help carry the message to the addict still suffering.
We believe that once participants understand that the fees from registration help to make the event possible and the registration funds collected are used for the planning of present and future N.A. conventions, the question "Why Register?" will be answered.
